John's Story
Recently returned from a sabbatical in Costa Rica. It was org'lly a few month vacation, but then...... after a year +, we decided it was time to return to CA. Costa Rica is terrific, especially if you stay as we did and learn the people, culture, politics and natural gifts the country is blessed with. We have great ex-pat friends there and miss our beach life, sunset cocktails and family times. Our daughters, son, grand daughter were there and my brother and family came down too. We celebrated birthdays in Honduras, anniversaries in Guatemala and shopped in Panama.
The other times I was sober! It's Nov 2011 and we're ready for a vacation since we've been in the US for 100 days.

I completed the UofH, the Air Force & joined a F50 firm by 23; got married, moved from Houston and climbed the biz ladder so to speak. Forfeited my personal life for it tho. I've been remarried now for 25+ years living mostly in Silicon Valley where I live now. Career has always been in hi-tech, retired almost 5 years ago, but this economy says I just may outlive my money; thus, I con't with some start-up firms. Pam and I have 3 children and will recieve our first grand daughter, Cora Snow in two weeks. What a blessing!
I fully accepted the Lord ~20 years ago and my life is wonderful. Same aches, pains, children issues, money problems, etc. etc. as you, but I've never been happier. Politics are another issue and we're at an inflection point in our country's history. I hope you each are involved.
